A ten-foot-tall custom pivot entry door developed as a precision-built threshold element for a private residence in Austin. The assembly integrates a concealed steel frame with a vertical wood slat system, reinforcing the material clarity and vertical expression of the entry.
The door was fully modeled to produce detailed shop drawings for review and approval, followed by a fabrication drawing set translating design intent into production-ready documentation. Close coordination with the in-house shop guided the assembly from model to manufacture, ensuring constructability, tolerance control, and alignment at installation.
